Welcome to the Internet presence of the new Athens County EMS ACEMS began service on January 1, 2011 when Southeast Ohio EMS no longer provided service. Most SEOEMS employees have been hired to continue the same quality emergency medical services provided by SEOEMS. The transition and first two weeks of operation have gone relatively smoothly with nearly 300 runs completed. Pages on each station are linked to the left. Employees with shared privileges to their station calendar will be able to log in and check schedules, etc. As a result of the resignation of Corey Lenigar, effective April 23, 2012, Rick Callebs, EMT-P, Chief of the Athens Station #51 has been appointed as Interim Director.
